Belongings at QCA

LEADING BY EXAMPLE

The student centric approach at QCA is about more than academics; it is about providing a canvas for our boys to articulate their vision, define their journey and leave an impact behind. In addition to the diverse array of clubs, our boys also have the opportunity to become integral members of various student organizations. As we entrust them with leadership responsibilities, boys are tasked with listening, learning and delivering to not only shape their individual experiences but also contribute to the vibrant tapestry of our school community.

CLUBS & STUDENT ORGANIZATION

At QCA, our diverse clubs and activities, from technology and nasheed to tech and drama, to soccer offer a myriad of opportunities for boys to explore and pursue their interests and passions. These extracurricular pursuits not only enhance their learning but also expose them to meaningful experiences that matter most to them. Through these diverse opportunities, each QCA boy is on a pathway that connects them with their purpose. Moreover, the inclusive nature of these activities fosters new friendships across grades, and connections with outside organizations providing students with the chance to engage on a larger scale.

STUDENT COUNCIL

Empowering student voices, fostering school spirit, and driving positive change through active participation in decision-making is the motto of the QCA Student Council. The council meets every Tuesday to deliberate on ideas and plan execution of events that align with the interests and aspirations of the student body. Students from 5th grade onwards are eligible to run for office.

STORYTIME WITH GRANDPA BAAJOUR

Every other week, Grandpa Baajour brings the charm of storytelling to life for our youngest learners. With funny expressions, relatable stories from the Quran and the Seerah, Ustaad’s unique ability to connect with the kids at their level makes this program one of our most endearing. Story Time with Grandpa Baajour is not only fun-filled but leaves a lasting impression on these young hearts.

GROWTH AND MENTORSHIP WITH IMAM NADIM

A weekly, fun and engaging session where the topic of discussion and activities center around adab, positive relationships, growing spiritually, building ties of brotherhood, conversations and communication in a safe and nurturing space with Imam Nadim.

A Sense of
Brotherhood at QCA

Our focus on fostering brotherhood is embedded throughout the year, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and respectful expression of opinions through events such as the Design Studio Showdown, Multicultural Night, etc. At QCA we see a boy’s journey as a path of self discovery. And in this transformative journey boys not only discover each other’s strengths and vulnerabilities but also learn the beautiful art of optimizing strengths and become a source of support for one another.
